The inquiring minds close to the Daily Post group of Word Press came up with “Thanks, Hindsight” for today’s prompt for our creations. They also asked two additional questions:”How is the year shaping up for you so far? Have your predictions come true, or did you have to face a curve ball or two?”
At Least, the Holiday Season is Over!
We have gotten back to our normal boring daily grind. Personally, I do not waste time making resolutions or predictions for the year. If I was to predict anything, it would be I would not be lucky enough to die peacefully in my sleep this year or anytime in the future.
Once January 31st came and went, my husband was able to complete our yearly tax forms. Tax season was a good thing for us once again! We withhold enough from our income so that we always receive a refund as opposed to owing taxes. Submitting the claim early helps us get it back faster, too!
Put some of the return in savings. Will be redoing the upstairs bathroom after next year’s tax return comes in. Got to make it more handicap accessible for me to be able to take a shower without any help!
Please Help Fight this Evil Disease
The medicine my neurologist has prescribed for me for my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is basically nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford then or every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.
