The daily prompt given to us today by the panicking people in the Daily Press division of Word Press was “Help“. Apparently they were not familiar with the nationwide 911 services!
Help Musically
First words that came to my mind were the song of a famous Beatles song by the title of “Help“. There is also the song “Help Me” by Joni Mitchell. Personally, I prefer the Beatles musical gifts.
Help Depression
Get help from someone immediately if you are feeling suicidal! Call 911 if nothing else. Seek professional help if you can wait to see your doctor. Your doctor may refer you to a psychologist or psychiatrist. The later can prescribe you medications to help your mood get leveled out. Warning it generally takes weeks for the meds to work. The doctor may have to try several different ones to find the best remedy for your body.
Make sure you let your loved ones know what is going on. Having a good friend to talk to can help you let off steam when you need to let it out. If you belong to any religious group, they may also offer comfort in times of trouble.
Please Help Fight Horrendous Disease
The medicine my neurologist prescribed for me to treat my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is basically nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford that then or every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.
