The rushed people from the Daily Post division of Word Press came up with the prompt of “Pace Oddity” to either slow down or hurry up our creative processes. They added a single innocent sounding question to move us through our creating process-“If you could slow down an action that usually zooms by, or speed up an event that normally drags on, which would you choose, and why?”
Want to Speed up my Infusions
The annoying one hour of getting infused with Tysabri is fine, it is the second hour I have to remain in the center to be observed that drives me nuts! Tysabri is the medicine my neurologist has put me on to help modify the progression of my multiple sclerosis has on my body’s nervous system. Has several annoying side effects like constant itching, compromising my immune system, and hair loss. Don’t care about the hair loss, but the itching drives me crazier than I already am! The compromised immune system makes me susceptible to whatever I come in contact with like athlete’s foot.
The case of athlete’s feet is making me have to visit a podiatrist to get the infection cleared up once and for all. Probably will need to have the toenail on the big toe of my right foot removed to eradicate the fungus from my body.
Please Help Fight this Evil Disease
The medicine my neurologist has prescribed for me for my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is basically nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford then or every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.
