Today’s prompt from one of the contributors to the Daily Post division of Word Press is the famous last words “Never Again“! Then she asked us to expand on the theme by following her directions: “Have you ever gone to a new place or tried a new experience and thought to yourself, “I’m never doing that again!” Tell us about it.”
Will Never Live in Wisconsin Again!
When my husband and I tried living there, we ended up going completely bankrupt. Eventually, this caused me to call a friend to tell her good-bye for the final time because I was going to commit suicide. Was all ready to commit the act when I heard a pounding at the front door. Knowing the busy road out front there could have been a severe accident, so went to offer help to the troubled motorist. Turned out to be a police officer sent from my friend to prevent me from killing myself.
The officer gave me a few minutes to gather clothes to take with me to the mental hospital he would be committing me in for treatment. My husband was at work at the only place he could find employment in that hell hole. Our neighbor called my husband to let him know that there had been a police visit while he was at work. Would be several days before I was released from the facility.
Took moving to two more states to rebuild our lives together. He still does not allow the over the counter drug I was going to use to assist me in taking my life in our house anymore!
Please Help Fight this Evil Disease
The medicine my neurologist has put me on for my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford that every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.
