The music enthusiasts from the Daily Post group of Word Press chose the word “Sing” for our creations of various types of art to be based on.
Love most Music
Tried to find the name of a song from back when I was in chorus in high school, but had absolutely no luck! The words went something like this: “I sing when I’m happy, I sing when I’m sad. Singing can help me when I’m feeling bad. In trouble or pleasure, at work or in leisure, whatever I do I just sing!”
Used to play the piano in grade school. Was in both grade school and high school band. Started out on my mom’s clarinet. In junior high, I took up the bass drum and xylophone due to loss of use of one of my left hand’s fingers. (Kept breaking my one finger either climbing trees or trying to catch a tennis ball in self defense during P.E. classes. Face it was never a tennis player, you are NOT supposed to catch them bare handed!)
In high school, took up the tenor saxophone, due to lack of a decent sax player in the band. (Face it some songs require a decent saxophone player!) Taught myself how to play the tuba to help my baby brother get the hang of it. Back in the day, I basically could teach myself how to play anything except the trombone. Arms were to short for the school’s instrument.
Please Help Fight Terrible Disease
The medicine my neurologist prescribed for me to treat my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is basically nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford that then or every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.
