The pirate-like people with the Daily Post division of Word Press suggested we blog with the following prompt “Six of One, Half a Dozen of the Other“. They followed that prompt with the following instructions- “Write a six-word story about what you think the future holds for you, and then expand on it in a post.”.
The prompt makes me think of a ship run by a pirate’s crew. Since I no longer imbibe the wonderful spirit of Malibu Rum, won’t be drinking on our voyages! Really could use a few pints of the stuff, but that is another story…
Captain Jack Sparrow can stay far away from me as far as I am concerned! My swimming abilities went with my ability to walk years ago. Used to be a Red Cross certified life guard in High School.
What the future holds for me is a journey into the depths of my mind by my continuous writing via my blogging habits. Learn a little more about myself as I endeavor to share it with the world on my blog. Have made many friends all over the world through my blogging. Wish I could meet them face to face some day!
Long term goals include making a profit from my writing one day. Thankfully, my husband has a full time job, that coupled with my monthly social security disability check supports the two of us and gets all the medicines my doctors have prescribed for me to take.
He is the one that helps take care of me every day. Don’t know what I would do if he is ever injured severely. Would have to hire someone to help me take a shower every few days and do the laundry (washer and dryer are both located down stairs). Have to also get help making warm meals that cannot just be microwaved.
