The people from the Daily Post group of Word Press did not expend too much thought when arriving at today’s prompt of “Fleeting“. No long drawn out board meetings were required to select this glancing pass of a phrase!
Fleeting Life in Paradise
That is what I considered the seven years we lived in Colorado. Had absolutely no problems finding my way around the area. Could tell which way west was by looking where the mountains sat in relation to my position driving on the road. If we were not happy with the temperature being too warm, we just drove up to a higher elevation! There was snow up in Estes Park year round! Drive even further up to the Rocky Mountain National Park where you can visit permafrost locations. During the winter, parts of the park is unreachable due to snow and avalanche risks.
Got to enjoy skiing a few times. Had great fun playing in the snow both on the mountain or in our front yard with the neighbor kids. Loved the neighbor’s pets. One was a dog you would expect to be vicious, but he was a puppy at heart. All you had to do was talk to him to let him know you were the ones outside he was hearing. Was an escape artist, breaking out of his fence to go exploring. One of our cats had a crush on the neighbor’s calico cat. She was a friendly animal named Patches.

The medicine my neurologist has prescribed for me for my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is basically nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford then or every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.
