Music is Always First on My Mind

I grew up watching Sesame Street back in the early 70’s.  That and Mister Roger’s Neighborhood.  Still remember all the songs I learned from observing those streets of educational fiction.

Then I grew up started attending school.  Traversed many new streets in my life.  Encountered music from the BackStreet Boys.  Learned that they wanted it that way.  Glad I outgrew that stage of my life!

Left home to attend college in a completely different state.  (Thank God!)  Missouri enabled me to experience completely new place, streets, and cultures.  Spent my freshman year listening to music from a group known as N.W.A. Fortunately, broke up with the guy I was dating at the time, so stopped listening to gangster rap music at the beginning of my Sophomore year.  My streets became clearer in my mind.  By the beginning of my Junior year, I was completely over my love loss so I joined a dating service to try to meet men of a better quality than I was meeting on the streets of Springfield alone by myself.  Met many new people that way, but they disgusted me.  Was about to have to discover a new street somewhere, when I met with one last gentleman from the dating service.

Together my husband and I have travelled down many worn streets over the past 20+ years.  Lived in many different states of this country.  All from our meeting at the dating service!  Extremely glad I went down that street in desperation.

The medicine my neurologist prescribed for me to treat my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is basically nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford that then or every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.
