Prompt for the Day: “Counting Voices”

The insane people from the Daily Post division of Word Press came up with today’s prompt to drive us further crazy of “Counting Voices“.  I thought they were referring to all the voices in my head! Here is the correctly added information they gave us-“A lively group discussion, an intimate tête-à-tête, an inner monologue — in your view, when it comes to a good conversation, what’s the ideal number of people?”

Two is my preferred amount, three overloads Me!

My best conversations happen with one other person when there are no added distractions like television in the background.  Having only one other person talking while the voices in my head refuse to shut up is hard enough!  If the other person insists on having something annoying like the T.V. on while we are talking, I still confuse the critical issues we are talking about.

Just have to get the voices in my head to clamor down occasionally!  My mind also seems to have it’s own radio stations on at varying volumes depending on my mood.  Having my favorite 50’s and 60’s music stuck in my mind can be fun!  Occasionally, my mind throws in a song from the 80’s to keep it fresh!

Please Help Fight this Evil Disease

The medicine my neurologist has prescribed for me for my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri. Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is basically nearly impossible. I remember when I first started on the drug the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500. There was no way my husband and I could afford then or every 28 days! Biogen (the company that manufactures the drug) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely. So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign. I know that feeling all too well actually. I prefer to be one-track minded when conversing with someone else. After all, my voices never shut up either… Thanks for sharing!
