Prompt for the Day: “Earworm”

The buggy people at the Daily Post division of Word Press tried to slip a bug into my ears with the prompt for today of “Earworm“.  A single statement was included with the worm-“Write whatever you normally write about, and weave in a book quote, film quote, or song lyric that’s been sticking with you this week.”

Earworm makes me think of:

“The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, the worms play penuchle on your snout!  They eat the goo between your toes, they eat the stuff that’s in your nose!  They make you smell like sour whipped cream, then eat your brains until they turn green!  The worms crawl in…”  Loops in a continuous repeat of the song until your voice is completely gone.

Used  to make my mother sick with that song.  Have no idea how she survived on a working dairy farm with me and my two little brothers,  Used to be an ongoing game to see who could gross her out the worst!  The sight of blood has absolutely no effect on me, so I am hard to make ill from gross things.  What gets me most is actual smells.  The smell of rotten meat or feces from a calf who has a bad case of diarrhea makes me ill!

Please help fight my disease

The medicine my neurologist has me on for my multiple sclerosis is called Tysabri.  Trying to find the actual cost on the internet is impossible.  I remember when I first started on it , the amount the facility tried charging me was well over $2500.  There was no way my husband and I could afford that every 28 days!  Biogen (the manufacturing drug company) has been helping us with some of the cost of the drug, but will not continue helping indefinitely.  So I have started a Go Fund Me campaign.  To contribute to the fund, click on the following link: https://www.gofundme.com/zfabhdes

All help will be greatly appreciated.   Thank you for your generosity!
