The twisted minds at the Daily Post division of Word Press came up with the writing prompt of “Truth Serum” for today. They also added the following question – “You’ve come into possession of one vial of truth serum. Who would you give it to (with the person’s consent, of course) — and what questions would you ask?”
I would like to try to have my husband take it. That way I could learn the true reason why he is refusing to return to the chiropractor. Know his back still bothers him, so why won’t he go visit the man for an adjustment? Is he that worried about the cost?
Considering the amount of money we waste on my medicines to help me survive with my multiple sclerosis, why shouldn’t we spend some to help his back? Just doesn’t make any good sense to me! Maybe I am just not looking at the issue in the correct perspective of life. Or am I just completely insane? Who really knows.
Donate if you want to contribute to my fight to keep my mental coherence from the ravages of multiple sclerosis[paypal_donation_button]`
Guess I think most people are honest in general. Just goes to prove how naive I truly am in today’s world. Thinking it is safe to trust other human beings with out knowing if they have an ulterior motives!
Should we stock pile a mess of this truth serum to gain access to the minds of criminals. We might be able to prevent terrorism this way! Or are we taking away their personal rights to their own thoughts, no matter how demented they may be? Not a decision I am either qualified or willing to make. Prefer my simple illusions of a honest world. Was taught to tell the truth at all times. Still abide by my upbringing!
